STF and Forbesganj Police apprehend Araria's most wanted criminal Shravan Kumar

• The special STF team from Patna, in collaboration with Forbesganj police, arrests most wanted criminal Shravan Kumar
• The arrest took place near the main gate of the dissolved Agricultural Produce Market Committee
• Shravan with a long criminal history, was wanted in connection with an armed robbery case of Rs 4 lakh 

A major breakthrough was achieved by the special STF team from Patna, working in collaboration with the Forbesganj police station, as they successfully apprehended Shravan Kumar near the main gate of the dissolved Agricultural Produce Market Committee. Shravan Kumar, listed among the top ten most wanted criminals in Araria district, had a criminal record, and his arrest has been confirmed by Forbesganj police station incharge Aftab Ahmed.

Shravan Kumar is a resident of Bhawanipatna in Supaul district, had been evading the law in connection with a case registered under section 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code at Forbesganj police station (Case No: 614/22, dated 13.06.2022). The case, filed by local businessman Narayan Maheshwari, involved an armed robbery in broad daylight where miscreants stole Rs 4 lakh.
